What was the highlight of Gem Langham Court Hotel
Very Good
Hotel is great, fabulous location and good value. The breakfast (which is included in the room rate) was poor though. Only continental included which consisted of some watered down juice, cereals and small pastries. Nobody asked if I wanted a hot drink (all the staff were congregating by the entrance making sure to tell everyone that they needed to pay if they selected the English breakfast) and I couldn’t see a hot drink machine to make one myself so I didn’t have one! That was disappointing but the hotel itself is great

Good
The hotel was in a great location and the room was very clean.
It was a compact room for 3 people and it was very warm when we stayed. Also the flat below our window were partying until after midnight on one of the evenings so we had to close the window to dull out the noise.

Lovely hotel basic, but perfectly placed for our needs.
Bit outdated furniture but perfectly adequate for our needs. Very clean, staff were very polite & helpful. Breakfast was good, booked for continental breakfast but decided on full English & paid £5 pp to upgrade which I thought was very reasonable.

What was the highlight of Gem Langham Court Hotel
Lovely hotel in a good location with easy walking access to bars, restaurants and shops.
Good location, easy and safe to walk around. Our standard room was a good size, and it was nice and quiet for sleeping at night (couldn't hear any traffic etc.) There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within easy walking access.
It was a bit further to the train station than I would have liked but that was a minor issue. Their breakfast was a bit on the expensive side (when converting to Aussie $) so we elected to eat out each morning as there are plenty of other options available nearby.
